Wilson Skinner
product designer, builder

I love that moment when software feels easy. I craft simple, clear consumer products and take a functional, systems-driven approach to design.

I studied Engineering Psychology at Tufts and interned at CarGurus, where I prototyped a finance calculator with Cursor. Since graduating, I've rebuilt Bodega Bay Lavender's online store and created an AI image generation app with Claude Code.

I'm currently designing wealth management software at Goldman Sachs in New York. Let's chat!

Design Process

AI tools give me superpowers.

Claude has transformed what I can accomplish alone. Alongside the productivity gains, I can quickly build a functional prototype, share it with users, and gather feedback to validate the direction.

Figma is still where I do my design thinking. AI is great at distilling research and building prototypes, but it can't replace the human empathy needed to refine information architecture and the small details that define a product.

Claude is my PM to align project context and goals

02 - Design

I use Figma to explore ideas and shape direction

03 - Build

04 - Ship

I use GitHub and Vercel to deploy, test, and iterate
